100 degrees
The geese have discovered their own creative ventilation system :)
Hey Maggie, If you are interested in more ducks, geese, or even some chickens, I am working at a farm where she breeds and hatches rare and heritage breeds. The ducks are my favorite though :0)
In Riceville, IA. The name of the farm is The Country Hatch. http://www.thecountryhatch.com/ Her website is not really up-to-date, but feel free to give her a call at 319-231-6340. She is also on facebook a bit.
Kristin has been in operation for a little over 2 years, and she takes really good care of her birds and truly loves what she does.
Jared, Emma and I will actually be coming down on the 19th or 20th, so if you are interested, I could probably bring some babies down for you or some eggs if you are interested in trying to hatch them :0)
Donna (the mom), and Maggie, (the daughter) co-own Prairieland Herbs. We have 2 acres of land in central Iowa, and grow our own herbs and flowers, which we use to make herbal bath and body products. We both run our retail store and website full-time.
